Workaround and actions to take if you would like to update the assignment Post Date: We have reported the issue to Turnitin and they are investigating this as a matter of urgency. This seems to happen ONLY in cases where the assignment settings have been edited in the assignment inbox via the pencil icon (image 1). Even though the ‘new’ Post Date has not passed. Though the assignments appear anonymous in the first instance if you choose to extend the Post Date by editing it, once a student makes a submission, their name is revealed and all other names appear anonymous. There seems to be instances where the above is not the case. If a Turnitin assignment has been set to anonymous marking and no submissions have been made it should be possible to edit (further extend) the Post Date of an assignment and keep the assignment anonymous. *Please note, Mass Actions block is working as expected within the Moodle 20/21 Snapshot. To do this, go to your Course Administration > Edit settings > Course format > change to one of the working formats listed below > click on Save and display. The suggested workaround is to change to a working course format, apply your changes and switch your format back to the original format. However, the action to carry out your request using the mass action block will not funtion.
